On the fateful night of the incident, police were summoned and no arrest were made.  After public outcry and an investigation, Mr Zimmerman was arrested on suspicion of committing the crime.  It is interesting that in the days that have followed it has been discovered Mr. Zimmerman would appear different people living within him.    On the one hand, appears to be a supporter of minority rights and on the other he is saying inappropriate things about Mexicans.  He would appear to be a responsible citizen that is part of a community watch program.  Yet, this same citizen can make disparaging remarks on MySpace about “Mexicans.”  It will be interesting to find out where this case ends up.

Regarding bail bonds, Mr. Zimmerman was granted a bail of $150,000 and posted said bail.  He is a free man.  Of course, free is a term used rather loosely as he is being tracked by GPS and has many restrictions as conditions of his bond.
